An Irish blended whiskey from Midleton, the 2023 Vintage Release of the Midleton Very Rare collection. It carries the signature of master distiller Kevin O'Gorman, who created the blend from selected single pot still and single grain whiskeys. It is bottled at 40%, without added colour and non-chill-filtered.
The whiskey matured in lightly charred ex-bourbon American oak barrels.
The tasting notes describe juicy fruit and a creamy texture, with a herbal note like chamomile tea. Spice from the still and floral grain notes linger, while charred wood grows over time alongside candied orange and dried apricot.
