Midleton Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Kylebeg Wood (70cl)

Midleton Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Kylebeg Wood is a single pot still Irish whiskey from the Virgin Irish Oak Collection, in a 700ml bottle. It is first matured in American oak bourbon barrels, then finished in virgin Irish oak from the Kylebeg Forest in Co Laois. The character of the individual oak tree is traced and documented for each bottle. The nose is aromatic orchard fruits, toasted oak and warm vanilla, with delicate floral notes and subtle spice. The palate has honeyed sweetness, dried fruit, baking spices and roasted nuts, with pronounced oak and a creamy pot still texture. The finish is long, with spice, oak tannin and gentle sweetness.
