Midleton – Very Rare Irish Whiskey 2023 Vintage Release (70cl)

Midleton Very Rare is an Irish whiskey from Midleton Distillery, first created in 1984. This is the 2023 vintage release, in a 70cl bottle. It combines pot still whiskey with aged grain whiskey, and oak adds further character. The nose shows nectarine, ripe melon, green apple and apricot, with fresh ginger, crushed peppercorns, dried flowers, golden syrup, vanilla, honeycomb and roasted coffee beans. On the palate, succulent fruit and creaminess sit alongside a camomile-like herbal note, then candied orange and dried apricot as charred oak builds. The finish closes on oak tannins and aged grain whiskey.
