Midleton Very Rare is an Irish whiskey from the Midleton Distillery in County Cork, produced as a limited edition. The master distillers choose it from the best pot still and grain whiskeys.
The whiskey rests for between 12 and 28 years in oak casks that previously held American bourbon. It comes in a 70cl bottle with a wooden box.
The nose is elegant and intense, with dried fruit, honey and spice. The finish is very long.
