Mijenta Maestra Selection No. 3 is a blanco tequila, the third release in a series shaped by Maestra Tequilera Ana María Romero. It is made from 100% Blue Weber agave, water and yeast, with no barrel ageing.
Bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle, it is a higher-strength tequila from the Highlands of Jalisco. The floral label artwork is by Mexican artist Sofía Castellanos and features Mijenta's golden rabbit.
On the nose it offers concentrated cooked agave, fresh citrus, floral and herbal notes, with pepper and earthy minerality behind.
