This is a straight bourbon from Milam & Greene, bottled in bond at 50% (100 proof) under the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897. It is made in small batches from a single distilling season and aged for a minimum of four years in new charred oak barrels.
The nose is toasted oak, vanilla bean and honey-drizzled cornbread. The palate is full-bodied, with rich caramel, dark cherry and baking spice. The finish is long and smooth, with a touch of pepper and oak.
