Milk & Honey – Art & Craft Doppelbock Beer Cask Single Malt Whisky (75cl, 58.3%)

This is a single malt from Milk & Honey, the Israeli distillery, released in its Art & Craft series at 58.3% abv in a 750ml bottle. Each year the Head Distiller hand-selects casks for the series, and every bottle carries a label inspired by the Israeli art scene. The whisky was fully matured in ex-beer casks from the Ha'Aretz Brewery, a craft brewery on the edge of the Negev desert. The casks were originally ex-Bourbon, then used for a Doppelbock beer for 4 to 6 months, before returning to the distillery to be refilled and matured for 3 years. One cask in the edition spent a full year of that time in the Dead Sea Project.
