Milk & Honey Elements Peated is a single malt whisky from Israel, in a 75cl bottle. It was matured in casks from Islay that had taken on smoky, salty character, then blended with single malt aged in ex-bourbon barrels.
The fruity notes of the new make join the typical Islay peat of the casks, giving a lightly peated, rather mellow whisky.
The nose is fresh, smoky and earthy, opening to vanilla and oak with a final hint of lemon. The palate is medium-bodied: vanilla sweetness, a delicate touch of peat, light spice, ginger and lemon. The finish is long, with peat coating the mouth and oak and lemon lingering.
