A 15 year old Highland single malt from Millburn, a distillery that has since closed. It was distilled in 1983, matured in a single bourbon cask and bottled in 1999 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask 87.5. This bottle is one of 313 from the cask, at 56.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Millburn was always a small site. Casks that have reached the market over the years have shown an excellent, slightly smoky malt in the bold Inverness style.
