A Speyside single malt from Miltonduff, released by Decadent Drinks as its Winter 2023 edition of Equinox & Solstice. It was matured for the full 11 years in a single first fill sherry hogshead and bottled at 48.5%.
The bottler describes it as a comforting whisky of warmth, ruddy fruits and spice, made for the depths of winter.
The nose brings dried fruits, plums, figs and raisins with leather, tobacco and dark honey. The palate is oily and creamy, and the finish is medium long and warm, with wood and spice.
