Miltonduff – 12 Year Old 2009 Oloroso Sherry Finish A.D. Rattray Cask Collection (58.5%)

This is a 12-year-old Speyside single malt from the Miltonduff distillery, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2022 by A.D. Rattray for its Cask Collection. It was finished in Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled at 58.5% abv. The whisky is non chill-filtered and of natural colour. Only 284 bottles were filled, and it comes in a tube. On the nose there is rose water, aniseed, fruit cake and royal icing. The palate brings maraschino cherry, brown sugar, fig roll and raisins. The finish is spicy, like raspberry coulis drizzled over a rich dessert.
