Minden Mill 5 Year Old is an American single malt made in Minden, Nevada, in a 75cl bottle. It is made from 100% malted barley, including heirloom grains, with snow-fed spring water, and distilled in copper pot stills imported from Scotland. The whiskey is aged for five years in the high desert climate.
The nose is toasted grain, vanilla oak, dried fruit, desert sage and warm honey. The palate has a rich malt backbone with brown sugar, baking spices, toasted almonds and subtle leather. The finish is medium to long, with oak, cinnamon warmth, dried apricot and gentle pepper.
