Green Spot is an Irish single pot still whiskey from Mitchell & Son. The name comes from the Mitchell family's habit of marking casks with a dab of paint according to their potential for ageing. It is triple distilled and rests for at least eight years in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry oak casks. The bouquet is honey and oak, and the palate is fruity and malty, with a light creaminess.
