Miyagikyo Discovery Aromatic Yeast is a Japanese single malt from Nikka, made at the Miyagikyo distillery near Sendai in Miyagi, and sold in a 70cl bottle. Selected yeasts shape its floral and fruity profile, and it is matured in American and European oak casks. The nose is fresh, with apple and pear, wild flowers and a delicate herbal hint. The palate is soft and persistent, ending in a lightly spiced, vanilla aftertaste.
