Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial Limited Edition x Yoon Ahn NV (75cl, 12%)

This is Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut, a non-vintage champagne in a 75cl bottle, dressed in a limited-edition design by Korean-American designer Yoon Ahn of AMBUSH. It was a 2021 collaboration, the maison's first global product collaboration. Ahn replaced the signature golden neck foil with deep black and gave the bottle a new all-white embossed label. The champagne inside is the classic Impérial Brut, so the change is to the bottle rather than the wine. It shows white-fleshed fruits such as apple, pear and peach, with citrus and white flowers, and brioche and cereal notes from lees ageing. The palate is lively and generous, ending in a smooth, balanced finish.
