A sweet wine from Monbazillac in France, made from Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle.
It shows intense notes of honey, apricot and sweet spices, with a light trace of vanilla from ageing in oak barrels. On the palate it is luxuriously velvety, with freshness balancing the sweetness and a long, pleasantly aromatic finish.
It is suited to fruit tarts or blue cheeses, and can also be enjoyed as a meditation wine.
