Monkey Shoulder Batch 27 is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, in a 1.75 litre bottle. It combines single malts from three Speyside distilleries: Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie.
The name refers to a condition that malt men developed from turning barley by hand.
Zesty orange, vanilla, honey and spiced oak lead the nose. The palate is creamy, with marmalade, barley sugar and a hint of cocoa, ending in a mellow, smooth finish.
