Monkey Shoulder Batch 27 is a blended malt Scotch whisky made only from Speyside single malts, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The name nods to distillery workers who developed a condition known as monkey shoulder from repetitive work.
The colour is light amber. The nose offers honey, cinnamon, vanilla and malt with a touch of citrus. The palate is smooth and creamy, balancing malt sweetness against lightly spiced oak, and the finish is long and sweet with a hint of cocoa butter.
