Monkey Shoulder Blended Scotch Whisky (75cl, 43%)

Monkey Shoulder is a blended malt Scotch whisky, made by combining three Speyside single malts. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle and contains no grain whisky. The malts were matured in first-fill bourbon casks. The name nods to the maltmen who turned barley by hand and developed a shoulder strain from the work. Tasting notes describe zesty orange and vanilla on the nose. Honey, malted barley and juicy oak follow on the palate, and the finish is smooth, with warm spice and a hint of berry.
