Monkey Shoulder Original is a Scotch blended malt, in a 70cl bottle. It brings together whiskies from three distilleries in the Lowlands and Speyside. The name refers to a term for the strain felt by distillery workers. The nose is soft, with sweet malt, vanilla, light spice and a hint of fresh citrus. The palate is warm, creamy and balanced, leading to a long, lightly spiced finish with caramel and nutmeg.
