Monkey Shoulder Smokey is a blended malt in a 70cl bottle, made from peated malts taken from Scottish distilleries in Speyside. It was matured in American oak casks. The smoke is gentle and recalls peated single malts, set against vanilla and honey, with caramel and toasted wood from the oak. On the palate, smoke, sweetness and a touch of spice sit in balance, and the finish leaves a soft, lingering smokiness.
