Mono No Aware World Blended Whisky

Mono No Aware is a blended whisky made only from single cask whiskies, combining Scotch with three Japanese whiskies from emerging distilleries. Just 260 bottles were produced. The name is a Japanese phrase for appreciating the fleeting beauty of life. The blend sets rich, fruity, oaky Scotch against lighter, floral and subtly smoky Japanese whisky. The nose brings fresh citrus, sliced apple and dried berries, then vanilla, butterscotch and buttered toast. On the palate, poached pear and light oak give way to cocoa, cinnamon and brown sugar. The finish is floral, with baked apple, berries and charred oak.
