Monte Alban is a mezcal from the Sazerac Company, made in the Oaxaca region of Mexico. It is double distilled, using a method the producer links to an old process developed by the Aztecs.
In the glass it is a bright, clear golden colour. The nose carries spice, wood and citrus with mineral touches. The palate is medium bodied, soft and enveloping, opening onto complex, spicy notes and a harmonious finish.
