This is an Extra Dry sparkling wine from Montelvini, made in the Asolo hills of Veneto and classified as Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG. It comes in a 75cl bottle.
It is made from Glera grapes, which ripen around the middle of September. The grapes are gently pressed and the must is cleared by cold static settling before a slow, temperature-controlled fermentation with selected yeasts. The family behind Montelvini began its own winemaking at Venegazzù in 1968.
The nose is broad and complex, balancing fruit and flowers. The palate is soft and velvety yet dry, with balanced acidity and a lasting freshness.
