A Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Riserva from Marina Cvetic, with an intense, clear, lively ruby colour. The nose offers ripe red fruits, plum and cherry, with subtle spicy hints and undergrowth notes. On the palate it has a solid structure, present but smoothed tannins, good acidity and a medium-long persistence recalling fruit and spice. It pairs with roast or stewed meats, medium and long-aged cheeses, savoury pasta dishes, cured meats and traditional Abruzzese dishes. Serve at around 16-18 °C.
