This is a 15 year old Mortlach single malt from the official Game of Thrones Six Kingdoms collection, released by Diageo. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in ex-bourbon barrels, giving an elegant, smooth and slightly spicy style in keeping with Mortlach's reputation as the Beast of Dufftown.
The nose brings vanilla, pear, light citrus and soft oak. The palate is creamy and fruity, with honey, grain, soft spices and subtle wood. The finish is medium long, softly sweet with a spicy note.
