This is a 15 year old Mortlach single malt, a limited edition made as a tribute to the end of the Game of Thrones series. It is the last bottle in Diageo's collection for the series, with the three-eyed raven on the label.
The whisky was matured for 15 years in ex-sherry casks, then given a light finish in American oak that previously held bourbon. Mortlach is known among enthusiasts as the Beast of Dufftown.
The nose is sweet, with vanilla and a hint of smoke. The palate is soft, bold and round, with vanilla, chocolate, caramel and cinnamon.
