A 14 year old Mortlach labelled The First Edition, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023 from a single sherry hogshead, which gave 282 bottles.
The nose is sweet, fruity and waxy. On the palate there is beeswax, yellow apples, melon and fresh bread, with a pleasant herbal note. Fresh apples and beeswax linger on the finish.
