This is a Mortlach distilled in 2008 and bottled by Signatory Vintage, the independent bottler. It is a single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 61.2% ABV.
Mortlach uses a partly triple distillation, a method particular to the distillery.
The nose is malty, with vanilla and honey, ripe fruit and sweet spice. On the palate come chocolate and cinnamon over a background of smoky wood, leading into a long finish.
