This Mortlach single malt comes from Hunter Laing's Old Malt Cask range. It was distilled in July 2010 and bottled in November 2024 at 14 years old, at 50% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in a Canasta butt, and the cask yielded 326 bottles.
The nose offers sea spray, wood polish and toffee. On the palate there are dark chocolate, red berries and oak, followed by a long finish with lingering pepper and spice.
