This Mortlach was distilled in 2006, aged for eight years and bottled by Douglas McGibbons at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Mortlach is a Speyside distillery, and its spirit is partly triple distilled.
The nose offers ripe fruit and sweet malt, with a touch of wood spice from the oak casks.
On the palate it is full and round, with caramel, vanilla and a fine note of chocolate, finishing long and lightly spicy.
