Mosgaard Dry Gin (50cl, 40%)

Mosgaard Dry Gin is a Danish organic gin distilled on a former farm in southern Funen, between fields and apple orchards overlooking the Langeland Belt. It is made from organic Danish barley malt in copper pot stills of the distillery's own design, and comes in a 50cl bottle. The botanicals are juniper, liquorice root, aniseed, almonds, cloves, black pepper, coriander seed, lemongrass, fresh lemon peel, lime and orange. The gin is fairly fresh, balanced by a light sweetness. The palate has a spicy sweetness, followed by a long, pleasant finish of fresh citrus fruit.
