Moskovskaya is a Russian vodka from around 1954, bottled at 40% vol in a 50cl bottle. The name translates as Moscow Special Vodka. The brand was introduced in 1894 by the Russian state vodka monopoly. Production stopped when prohibition arrived in Russia during the First World War, and the brand was restored in 1925 in the Soviet Union. The golden medallion on the main label carries a Swiss eagle and the words HOSPES / BERNE 1954, with the name of the Exposition du Tourisme Suisse et de l'Art Culinaire International, an event held in Bern that year.
