Moskovskaya is a Russian vodka at 40% abv, in a 75cl bottle. The name translates as Moscow Special Vodka.
The brand was introduced in 1894 by the Russian state vodka monopoly. Production stopped, along with that of other strong spirits, when prohibition came in during the First World War, and the brand was restored in 1925 in the Soviet Union.
