Mossburn 12 Year Old Scotch Whisky Finished in Foursquare Rum Casks

This is a 12 year old Speyside blended malt Scotch whisky, the first release in Mossburn's Cask Collaboration Series, which celebrates friendship between Scotch whisky and the spirits of Barbados. It spent 12 years in ex-bourbon casks, then a second maturation in American oak casks that once held mature Foursquare rum, hand-picked at the distillery in St Philip, Barbados. It was bottled from a batch of 38 barrels, with no added colour and no chill filtration. The palate is described as tropical and fruity with a tang and velvety oaky vanilla, over a core of nutty malt and toffee.
