Mossburn Island is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Mossburn Distillers & Blenders, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a 2018 release from The Mossburn Cask Bill No. 1 series.
The blend brings together island malts aged in ex-bourbon barrels.
The nose opens with peat and sea spray. Charred oak, cracked pepper and citrus zest follow, and a gentle sweetness lingers into the finish.
