Mossburn Island Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Mossburn Island is a blended malt Scotch whisky bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first release under the Mossburn label and part of the Signature Cask Series. It blends malts from different Scottish islands, chosen for smoky, maritime and peaty character. The whisky is first aged in re-used American whisky barrels, then re-aged in custom-made hybrid casks (Cask Bill #1) that combine first-fill bourbon staves with heavily toasted European oak heads. The cask bill is intended to bring smoke and spice.
