This is a 10 year old single malt from Linkwood, bottled independently by Mossburn Distillers, the company that owns Torabhaig on the Isle of Skye. It comes at 46% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The whisky was set down to mature in 2007 and bottled ten years later, in 2017.
On the nose there is hay, anise, melted butter and a little smoke. The palate brings oily barley, fresh pear, maple syrup and spearmint, and the finish runs to marmalade, black pepper and plenty of honey.
