Mossburn No.12 Macduff 10 Year Old (75cl)

This is a 10 year old Macduff single malt Scotch whisky in a 750ml bottle, released as No.12 in the Mossburn Vintage Casks range. Each numbered release in the range comes from a select batch of casks. Distilling at Macduff began in 1963. The modern distillery has two wash stills and three spirit stills, with lyne arms that bend at a 90 degree right-handed angle, and it ferments in both wooden and stainless-steel vessels. The whisky balances fruity notes with cereal ones. The mid palate has ginger, caramel and softer malted cereal, and it finishes lightly with a gentle sweetness.
