Mossburn No. 23 is a 10 year old Scotch blended malt, made with Glen Spey and put together using Mossburn Cask Bill #2.
The whisky has been finished in first-fill oloroso sherry butts fitted with heavily toasted virgin American oak heads.
The nose is intense, with sweet barley, fresh oak, vanilla, pear, apple, orange peel and dry wood spices. The texture is silky, with citrus, barley, coriander seed, pepper, aniseed and clove, followed by creamy vanilla, fruit sweets and soft malty notes.
