Mossburn Speyside is a blended malt Scotch whisky made from a selection of Speyside single malts, bottled at 46% (92 proof) in a 70cl bottle.
The malts are re-aged and married in a mix of casks: American oak, Oloroso sherry casks and heavy char barrels. The result is described as fruit-forward, in the Speyside manner.
On the nose there is honey, orchard fruit, vanilla and light oak. The palate is smooth and balanced, with caramel, baked apple, malt sweetness and gentle spice. The finish is of medium length, with soft oak, dried fruit and a subtle warmth.
