Mossburn Teaninich 2007 is a 10-year-old Highland malt from Teaninich distillery, on the Cromarty Firth in the Northern Highlands. It was distilled in 2007 and bottled by Mossburn Distillers & Blenders at a cask strength of 59.1% ABV, in a 750ml bottle.
The whisky was aged in refill Oloroso sherry butts. It is non-chill filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is mixed herbs and spices with a touch of lavender over sweet sherry fruit. The palate is rounded and spicy, with dried fruit, warm spice and a gentle Oloroso nuttiness, and subtle sweet pepper towards the finish.
