Mr. Peat is a heavily peated Scotch single malt, bottled by the independent bottler Fox Fitzgerald of Hereford. It has a stated peat level of 45 PPM and is matured in bourbon casks.
It is bottled at 46%, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour.
The nose leads with bonfire smoke, ash and sea spray over vanilla, honey and toasted oak from the casks. The texture is oily, and the finish is long and smoky.
