Mulassano Barolo Chinato (50cl)

Mulassano Barolo Chinato combines Barolo, made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes from the Langhe, with an infusion of aromatic herbs, barks and roots. The wine is aged in wooden casks before being enriched with the herbal mixture. The nose shows spicy notes, china, vanilla and cocoa, with balsamic and slightly bitter hints. On the palate it is soft yet vigorous, with tannic structure supporting the drink and a long, persistent finish. It suits digestifs, dark chocolate and aged cheeses.
