This is a 12-year-old Speyside single malt from Glenrothes, bottled by Murray McDavid in its Benchmark range. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2024, in a 70cl bottle at 54.1% ABV. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered, with 1,617 bottles filled.
The whisky was finished for two years in first fill Ximénez-Spinola PX sherry barriques, from Murray McDavid's cask partners in Jerez.
The nose offers fruity coffee, chocolate berries and vanilla. The palate brings creamy malt, sweet mocha and baking spices, and the finish has baked apple, cocoa powder and cinnamon.
