Murray's Fools 'Daylight Land' Bourbon Whiskey

This is a bourbon from Murray's Fools Distilling Company, a farm distillery founded in 2015 by Sarah and Randall Beach. The name looks back to 1869, when thousands of people headed into the Adirondacks after reading Adirondack Murray's book and were nicknamed Murray's Fools for going into the wild so unprepared. Murray was Randall's great-great-grandfather. The distillery began in Altona, close to Adirondack Park, and opened a second site in Glenville in 2022. It commits to sourcing at least 75% of its fruits and grains from New York State.
