Myken Autumn Gale is a Norwegian Arctic Island single malt with a three-year age statement, bottled at 51% in a 70cl bottle. It is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.
The whisky matured for three years and ten months, mainly in ex-sherry casks with some ex-bourbon casks added. Its peat level is 12.6 PPM, which gives a lightly smoky style.
Vanilla and warm caramel sit beside bittersweet dried fruit and a faint veil of smoke on the nose. The palate brings honey, dried fruit, sherry notes and lively spice. The long finish is marked by woody spice and the impression of sun-dried fruit.
