A 10-year-old Jamaican rum from Myrtle Bank, crafted from molasses and distilled using pot and column stills. Batch 10 matured for a decade in ex-bourbon and seasoned oak barrels, with tropical maturation in Jamaica. Bottled at 50% ABV, it shows ripe tropical fruit, banana leaf, molasses and spiced brown sugar on the nose, with baked pineapple, caramelised banana, fig, cinnamon bark, nutmeg and vanilla bean on the palate, and a long, evolving finish.
Tasting Notes
explosive and fragrant with ripe tropical fruit, pineapple, mango and guava, interlaced with banana leaf, molasses and spiced brown sugar, with hints of toasted oak, clove and orange zest
full and rich with baked pineapple, caramelised banana, fig, cinnamon bark, nutmeg and vanilla bean, framed by deep molasses and brown sugar notes
