A 9 year old single cask Islay single malt from an undisclosed distillery, bottled at a natural cask strength of 57.9%. It spent 18 months in a first-fill oloroso sherry quarter cask, and 186 bottles were filled from cask 11140. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is briny and medicinal, with lemon zest, maritime smoke, olive, sea salt and clean malt. On the palate, creamy toffee and berries lead into smoke, iodine, citrus and nuts over mineral peat. The finish is long and coastal, with driftwood, smoked lemon and salt.
