This is a 30 year old Tobermory single malt from the Isle of Mull, bottled by Mythical Beasts (Spiritfilled) at 46.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Only 245 bottles were produced.
It was matured in a sherry butt, rum and PX sherry casks. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is gently briny, with wet slate and sweet almond. The palate is warm and sweet, with porridge and toasted cereal. The finish is mellow oats and barley with fresh bread, ending long and fiery. With a little water, pear, butterscotch and green apple come forward.
